Italian partners of A Gate to Entreducation project (Consorzio Innopolis, CCIAA Frosinone and Disamis) presented and described the project to LazioInnova head office personnel (director Dr. Luigi Campetelli and its staff). LazioInnova staff were told about the aims and activities of the project, the intellectual outputs and the partnership, by describing project outcomes and skills and features of each partner.

Italian partners choose LazioInnova as target of dissemination activity since LazioInnova is a key player in the strategies and actions of entrepreneurship promotion and support at regional level. Indeed LazioInnova is an in-house company of Lazio Regional Administration and its activities are focused on promoting entrepreneurship and business startup, business networking, internalisation, credit support, social inclusion. In its office there are also some FabLabs in which young entrepreneurs and artists can be advised by experts in their business planning and start-up.

Furthermore it is currently carrying out a programme called Startupper School Academy aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and creativity in the school system at regional level.

Italian partners agreed that this programme can be considered as a best practice in entrepreneurship education in school environment and that LazioInnova is a key stakeholder thanks to its institutional activity and its strong relationships with business and schools systems.

Such as, it will be able to play as multiplying agent of A Gate to Entreducation project among its institutional contacts, schools, chambers of commerces, business associations etc.

We discussed similarities and difference of both the projects, and collected a strong interest by LazioInnova staff in A Gate to Entreducation project, which was seen as an ambitious and creative attempt to make school and VET education environment closer to the needs of business system.
